Recently NALJets were tasked with the ferrying of a Cessna 172 Reims Rocket from Hungary to Meppershall, UK.
The mission was completed by our highly experienced crew and operations team during the COVID 19 Pandemic. Our crew member was dispatched on an airliner from the UK to Budapest where they then made a car journey to the airfield, Nyiregyhaza Trener Kft.
Upon arrival the crew member familiarised themselves with the aircraft before tackling the great European winter weather and undergoing nearly 12 hours of flying over 4 days. Along the way they stopped off at Linz, Austria, Frankfurt Hahn, Germany and then across to Ostend, Belgium before making a trip across the water to Biggin Hill, UK.
After a couple of nights in Biggin Hill due to the fog, the crew then made the last little hop over to Meppershall, UK delivering the aircraft to one very happy customer.
The NALJets team carried out a thorough, detailed and safe plan to ensure the transportation of the aircraft was completed successfully.
